We believe that children thrive when they feel connected to the wider community around them. That's why we are promoting community involvement and creating meaningful experiences to support children's learning, confidence and sense of belonging.

We welcomed the residents of Astley Hall Nursing home into Little Squirrels to show case our Christmas performance which was written by two of our Preschoolers.
The residents were very excited to watch the children and they showed them all a lot of love, support and praise for their efforts in their performance.
Our little ones worked hard to make the residents some Christmas cards to bring them some festive cheer to their Christmas period.

We had the pleasure of visiting the lovely staff and residents at Astley Hall Nursing Home, our little ones loved visiting the residents and showing off their Easter bonnets they had created and singing them their Easter songs they worked hard practicing.
They had even put on an Egg hunt for our little ones to enjoy running around their gardens trying to find all of the hidden eggs and they rewarded us with some lovely colouring books.
This trip had such a positive impact on our little ones and they all came back feeling very welcomed, happy and proud to share their experience with their parents at the end of the day.
We cannot thank everyone at Astley Hall enough for making such a lovely experience for our little ones and making us all feel so welcomed and valued during our visit.
